In 2008 Fabienne Kozel and her husband Hans Zwiggelaar settled in Kande in the Nkahata district on Lake Malawi.
In 2008 they built a Lodge there: With their own resources, completely with local builders and materials, without any power supply. Sustainability was paramount. The profits they made from the Lodge benefited the population by improving the living conditions and prospects of their fellow villagers, young and old.
Due to the Corona pandemic, guests for the Lodge stayed away, the income stream dried up and aid for the population was jeopardized. Because the board members of the Foundation had experienced through previous collaboration with Fabienne and Hans - through the collection of mobile phones and other hardware - that there was a bona fide organization where nothing was left unturned, it was decided to help them through fundraising campaigns. and seeking sponsors.
On May 25, 2021, "Stichting Ondersteuning Positieve Acties" (Positive Actions Support Foundation) was established. The statutory purpose of the Foundation is to support, implement and promote positive actions in the broadest sense of the word.
The activities are aimed at development cooperation with the Mbamba Community Based Organization in Malawi.
